Patologias – Escoliose.

Scoliosis
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deviation of the spine, in other words, the column not only deviates to one side, but forward or backward and around its own axis, leaving it S-shaped. The lateral deviations of the spine are called scoliosis attitudes. There are four main types of scoliosis:

Idiopathic Scoliosis
It is the most common type of scoliosis, currently its causes are being associated with genetic alterations, but are generally unknown.

Congenital Scoliosis
Its cause is from a malformation of the spine.

Neuromuscular Scoliosis
It is the most common type of scoliosis, currently its causes are being associated with genetic alterations, but are generally unknown.

Post-traumatic scoliosis
It can occur after a fracture of the spine.

Treatment
The treatment of the scoliosis varies according to several factors such as age, spine flexibility, severity of curve, etc. Among the most common treatments are physiotherapy, which uses the benefits of GPR (Global Postural Reeducation), the use of vests, postural control insoles and surgical interventions.
